Yoni Eggs have been used for sexual and spiritual fortification for over 7,000 years. The Yoni Egg is a beautiful representation of Yin energy as it is used as a mirror to indicate how woman's vaginal energy is flowing. When her Chi is thriving, surging, and pumping the egg is circulating within hitting all necessary spots and removal is easy. When her Chi is not flowing, the egg will mimic this through stagnation and removal will be challenging.

Becoming one with your yoni egg or charging it with your energy is important. Take your time getting to know it, don't rush it. As funny as this sounds, it's kind of like dating. You want to get to know it and lay the foundation for the road ahead. There is so much to do with your yoni egg besides putting it in your vajayjay. Many women have shared with me that they wear it in their bra, keep it in a pocket, sleep with it under their pillow or on the night stand next to the bed, meditate with it in or out, sit on it, etc etc. Do you use your yoni egg in other ways besides as a vaginal weight? Yoni Breathing
Yoni Breathing is a great daily practice, especially if you feel your egg is getting "stuck." Yoni breathing is when you insert your yoni egg into your vagina and while utilizing visualizations, breathe with it as you contract and relax the muscles of your vaginal canal. You focus on contracting different portions of your vaginal canal as you deeply inhale and exhale. This helps to harmonize the interior vibrations, blood flow, and oxidization of our Yoni.

MY EGG IS STUCK!!
NO it's not! Don't hurt yourself trying to force it out with your fingers. Trust me if you sneeze, cough, laugh, or go to the bathroom it will come out. Just be ready to catch it! Otherwise, practice yoni breathing, relax and use your vaginal muscles to push it out. You can do it!!
For real though involuntarily retaining your yoni egg can mean you are holding on to emotional stress, having trouble with letting go (death of a loved one, break ups), or not relaxing enough. If you are really having a tough time, take the hint and go get a massage. |
Pamper yourself. Uplift yourself and give yourself a pep talk. Surrender! Dance, move your hips around, squat. Try placing a warm towel on your yoni while deep breathing and visualizing.

My Egg Won't Stay in!! (9/20/2016)
This can mean many different things. It can mean you are so luscious and moist it just slips in and out, it could mean you are still recovering from having children, it could mean you are not used to being constantly consciously aware of your yoni, you are fatigued, stressed, running around doing too much, etc etc or still mastering your yoni coordination.
So what's a woman to do? Firstly, patience, especially if you are a new yoni egg user. It's going to take time to strengthen the muscles. You may want to try only sleeping with it in for a while before walking around with it in. Basically, insert you yoni egg before bed and push out the yoni egg out in the morning-- don't worry about wearing it during the day. If you do wear it during the day, then only at home.
If you are running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, implement some down time in your schedule. Even if it's just 5 minutes that you sit still and think of nothing, clear your mind, recharge. For me this is the 5 prayers a day, for others it may be meditation, lunch break, a bath.... And create a sacred space in your home, that is only to be used for this purpose, it could be just for you or you could share it.

This could also be a sign that you need a larger yoni egg. As your pelvic floor becomes stronger you will use a smaller egg. A woman shared with me that it was easier for her to retain a more textured egg like clear quartz or amethyst than something smooth such as (jade/agate). Or maybe you should switch to an egg that is not as heavy (i.e. rose quartz is lighter than rhodonite).

In the meantime be careful when using the restroom. I push my egg out and put it away before urinating etc because God forbid it would fall in the toilet, especially a public automatic flushing toilet. Of course if it does, just sanitize it and charge it. That's if u can retrieve it. I have also found it useful to wear pants that are tapered around the ankle (ie. salwar, harem pants, jogging pants, skinny jeans), so if the egg falls out of your yoni its not rolling around on the floor announcing it's arrival to the whole world.

Your Comments & Questions
Please explain the process for charging it. Does it have to be charged before each insertion?
There are 2 ways to clean your yoni egg. 1. Sanitize or physically clean it with hot water and apple cider vinegar to remove bacteria/debri.
Then many go a step further with cleansing the energy. 2. Cleansing the energy. If someone touches it, not only are they putting bacteria on it, but they are putting their energy, good and bad, on it. Some ways to cleanse the energy is by saging or burning copal and dousing the egg in the smoke (use thongs and be careful not to burn anything!) or letting the egg sit in a bowl of uncooked dry grain (rice, millet, quinoa). Then after cleansing the energy, I charge it in the sunlight, moonlight, or by wearing it close to my body. How you charge it just depends on what you are trying to accomplish, your style, and circumstances. It also depends on the type of crystal you have. For example, obsidian doesn't hold energy, so there is no need to cleanse the energy. |
I sage my egg at least before I start a new cycle (end of my menstrual cycle) because I don't want to carry over energy from my last cycle or last month into the next. This is really a personal thing and you have to do what works for you.

I started out with the rose quartz and fell in love with it immediately. I notice sex was better with out any effort tighter and lubrication. I find myself more loving to myself family and others. About a month after use I ordered the black obsidian and the experience has been WAY different. First thing I notice is the the obsidian egg travels all the to the back of my vagina and my rose egg stays more so in the front. When wearing the obsidian my vagina feels more open its not as tight compared to rose quart. I feel drained wearing the obsidian egg I never sleep past 6 am and one morning woke up and it was 10AM and i was still tired. Im not depressed but i do very indifferent. After wearing the black obsidian for 4 days Ive decided to cleanse by putting the egg in a clear glass with Himalaya salt and sit it outside to be recharge by the moonlight. Im hoping this will cleanse the bad energy it has absorbed while being in my yoni. Im writing to you to help get insight on whats happening with my yoni journey right now. Thank you for reading.

You can't use it as often as you use other yoni eggs bc it literally pulls a lot from you. Obsidian forces one to deal with trauma/to process the trauma so she can release it. This involves a lot of emotional work, so it can drain you mentally, spiritually, physically. It is a grounding stone, so it helps you feel secure in your environment, which helps ease negative stressors. It also helps protect you against external negative energy by stimulating your own natural energetic protection tools. So my advice is to only use the obsidian every other week or when you are ready to do some shadow work & have built up a strong emotional reserve. You journey is amazing and on target, thank you for sharing your experience with me.

Hi, thanks so much for the info. I am a brand new egg user. I bought a medium obsidian for clearing out/healing/setting boundaries/shadow work to start with and would love to move onto rose quartz and other stones in the future. I gave myself breast massage, inserted egg and pretty promptly fell asleep. When I woke up, it was way in there and I had to rush off to work. It lasted through a shower, 2 urinations, squatting while bearing down, dressing and running around. I am at work now and it is still in there. I guess it will come out in its own time?

I have truly enjoyed the calm and soothing feel of my jade egg. I feel like I'm glowing from the inside out. Also building the yoni muscles with kegel exercises has helped control when and how much pressure to apply during sex.

Yes, the yogi egg brings more pleasure to the sexual experience through building muscles and by wearing it during intercourse. The pubococcygeus muscle, or PC muscle, is one of the pelvic floor muscles that support the bowel and bladder in both sexes. In women, it also supports the uterus and vagina. Is it normal for the egg to fall out during urination? What can I do to keep it from falling out during this time?

It is common for
it to fall out during urination or bowel movement. Once you have at least
a year or more of experience you will be able to isolate the muscles
specifically for each of these functions and keep the egg in. For 2-3
years I would push my egg out before using the bathroom. Eventually I got
to where I can hold it in and urinate/bm. This is what is meant by
vaginal/yoni muscle coordination. As a bellydancer we are taught to
isolate all of our pelvic and abdominal muscles, so this is a concept that
I always strive for. But take ur time and enjoy the journey this is not an
overnight thing. I've been using yoni eggs for 10 years and continue
to...there's always something new to improve or accomplish. A woman's body
is always changing!
What use could I have for a Yoni Egg if my vagina is already tight?

Ever seen a bodybuilder who can't dance? Or with no "rhythm?" Your vaginal muscles may be strong, but the yoni egg can help you to learn to coordinate your muscles and isolate them. Also, it can balance you out more if you are too tense or dry. Then there are the metaphysical benefits such as balancing your chakras, meditation, and making you more in tune with yourself.
I came across your site and think the information and what you are about is fabulous! Just a quick question about the yoni eggs, if you please. Earlier this year I had surgery due to suffering from endometriosis for over 10 years, which included removal of my cervix. Can I still use the eggs, or is there now a concern that it will get "lost" without the cervix blocking it from going too far in?

Thank you! And I do apologize for the delay in my response. I personally respond and manage all my applications and I really like to take my time with each person. It is best to discuss the details of the surgery with your doctor as she/he would be familiar with the type of closure. I can't be sure because I know the types of closures can vary. I have had similar inquiries with women who have had hysterectomies. In some cases, they are not even closed up and are not aware of it until they really discuss it with their doctor or an organ falls through. Or they are closed up but the closure is not secure enough to withstand a yoni egg. Therefore, I would discuss this with the gynecologist or doctor who did the surgery. Sometimes doctors are biased towards yoni eggs because they are unfamiliar with them, so you may have to educate him/her a little. Women who were not able to use yoni eggs for this reason have resorted to doing exercises with crystal wands. I don't sell them, but I can check into it and send you a link for some of those if you wish.
Assalamu alaikum sister! I wanted to private msg you via facebook, but my msger isn’t working. I’m interested in more info about Yoni eggs and how to use them without committing shirk? Like I’m kind of confused if the recharging process and cleansing process is haram or not. I know it should be washed after use, but what about the putting in soil, sun charging, and placing intention on it? It sounds so intriguing and it sounds like something id totally be into doing...but idk if its shirk or not? I heard of the benefits of using natural earthly things and that they have their own energy and all that...just like wearing and drinking from pure copper is good for us...but is the recharging process halal and necessary? This is similar to making wudu or Tayammum, what do u have available to purify urself for prayer; water or sand? So while I have never put my eggs in the earth for purification, I don’t knock it. I like to sit mine in the sunlight just like one would sit a plant in the sun. Of course, what you choose to do with your egg is your business, you don’t have to charge it or cleanse the energy of it. You could just cleanse it with hot water and apple cider vinegar and stop there.
Placing intention on the egg. I usually say Bism,Allah irrahman irahim, a'uzu billahi minashaitanir rajim, Shafi ya Kafi (The Healer, the Curer) and Pray to Allah what I hope to gain from this egg. Just like you would pray over ur food or make dua before leaving the house, entering the bathroom etc. This does not mean u r praying to the food, u r asking Allah to bless the food and make it good for you, it’s the same with the egg. Of course it’s ur choice, u don’t have to do this either, but as a Muslim I say Bism’Allah and call on Allah before doing anything. I also like to use this time to make affirmations, to uplift myself and focus.

I plan to use mine because I’ve tried doing kegels on their own but I get bored lol. I figure, if I have something there to focus on keeping inside, I can do more kegels. Plus it’ll be nice to see my progress going from the largest egg to the smallest. I also suffer from vaginal dryness after giving birth so I’m hoping this will help as well along with a change in my diet. Kegels don’t feel like the same thing to me and I’m married lol. Sometimes i feel like our vaginas aren’t cared for enough...we push baby after baby out...sometimes women have traumatic experiences in the vagina on different levels. It can feel like such a used and neglected area with no real concentrated and positive love and care put towards it. I know that might sound totally weird to some people like "why does it need all that? It’s a vagina!" yes, it is...but for all that it does...it deserves more than pushing bodies, penetration, and a yearly scraping.
I believe using a yoni egg can help women become more aware of the strength and power of our vaginas so that we appreciate it more, connect with it on a deeper level (esp for childbirth and better sex on our end) and become more in tune with knowing when something is just not right down there. Exercise 1: Boa Constrictor (Part 1)

This exercise strengthens and lengthens your muscles, and narrows the vaginal walls.
The traditional Chinese Kung Fu Snake style incorporates slow and patient movements that imitate the snake, usually the Green Bamboo Viper or the Cobra. In this practice, we study the movements of the Boa Constrictor. When you do these exercises, imagine that your yoni is a Boa Constrictor, slowly tightening its grip around your egg.
Use your PC muscle to get a firm hold on your egg, contracting and moving it upward towards your cervix. Imagine the walls of your vagina getting narrower and tighter as you constrict your muscles around your egg.
Technique:
Using only your PC muscles, hold onto your egg, increasing the intensity of your grip as a slow, steady pace as you count from 1 to 3. Before releasing, squeeze your egg as hard as you can. Then, slowly and completely relax the muscle. Repeat this exercise 9 times.
For the Mind: This is the perfect move to start your practice, as it is excellent at relieving stress, and preparing the mind and spirit for a cleansing experience. When you inhale, and constrict you PC muscle, imagine that you are drawing the tension from all parts of your body, spirit and mind inward, squeezing it into a very small, very manageable ball. When you release your PC muscle, exhale forcefully, and expel all the dead, negative energy out of your body with your breath.

Technique:
Inhale, and with slow, strong, controlled movements, contract your PC muscles as you count to 3, squeezing your egg and moving it upward. Feel your sit bones coming together as you contract you muscles. On the count of 3, hold this grip firmly for another 3 seconds. Then exhale, and slowly release the muscles for another 3 counts, until you are fully relaxed. Repeat this exercise 9 times. When you are done, bring your awareness back to your breath, feeling the new, warm energy circulating throughout your body.

Like the beating wings of a butterfly, rapidly contract and release your PC muscle, squeezing your egg firmly. Perform this as fast and gracefully as you can, building up faster and faster movements as you advance in your practice.

Exercise 4: The Jumping Fish
This exercise tones the pelvic floor and the abdominal muscles. It also increases lubrication. Inhale, and squeeze your egg with your PC muscles,pulling it up towards your cervix. When you feel it there, continue to squeeze for 3 seconds. Then, exhale, and push your yoni egg down towards the opening of your vagina. Be careful not to push too far, and let it slip out. Control these movements with your breath and awareness. Repeat 9 times.
Before you inhale,gather the energy (or chi) from all parts of your body, as if you are bracing yourself to jump very, very high. When you inhale, imagine that you jumping out of the water in an explosion of energy. When you are continuing to squeeze the egg at the top of your inhalation, imagine that you are the fish, straining at the height of her jump to get just a little closer to the top of the waterfall. When you exhale, imagine that you are gracefully plunging back down into the bottom of the river.
When the egg is not in, practice these similar exercises. Squeeze the entrance of your vagina, the middle, then the top (around the cervix). Squeeze lower, middle, then top. Lower, middle, then top.
This may be challenging in the beginning, but in time you will be able to differentiate the various segments of your vaginal canal.
