Rites of Passage Learning Center Receives 2013 Best of Tulsa Award
Tulsa Award Program Honors the Achievement
TULSA December 14, 2013 -- Rites of Passage Learning Center has been selected for the 2013 Best of Tulsa Award in the Learning Center category by the Tulsa Award Program.
Each year, the Tulsa Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Tulsa area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2013 Tulsa Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Tulsa Award Program and data provided by third parties.

So, What Do You Eat!?
Many people are curious about the gluten-free, diary-free diet. Gluten and dairy have been attributed to many health issues. However, such a diet transition often overwhelms people. After all, gluten and diary are staples of the American diet. The gluten-free, dairy-free diet excludes a lot of restaurants, so one has to make an effort in the kitchen. Walking into a grocery store searching for gluten-free, dairy-free groceries is enough to trigger a panic attack. Finding a cookbook that is both gluten and diary free is difficult.
That is, until The Rites of Passage Meal Treasury: Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Pork-free Family Flexitarian Cook Collection brushed the shelves. S.M. Sheikh has provided a drama-free road map for satisfying the gluten-free dairy-free taste buds and stomach. Not only does it offer alternative ways to prepare familiar foods, but this book, with its' cross cultural recipes and empowering food philosophy, also opens one's mind to a whole new world of food.
In just 100 pages, this book offers over 100 recipes complete with photos. It is available as an e-book or soft cover with coil binding.
S.M. Sheikh is a newspaper editor and author mainly of novels. However, as the chef of Rites of Passage Learning Center and her family (both which are gluten-free, dairy-free) writing a cookbook came naturally. She is known for her interactive cooking classes and nutrition consultations. She describes food as a journey.
The Rites of Passage Meal Treasury is available for $15.00 on www.moorishrites.com, Facebook, or by phone Writing on the Wall Publishing at 1-877-570-3108 *1.
